Job Description:
Our Ottawa based client is seeking a Web Designer Level 3 for a 27 day contract position. With the option of 27 day extension.

All candidates must possess Reliability Clearance.

Responsibilities:
• Create and apply designs that maximize usability of Adobe forms, code, and components.
• Develop Adobe Flex and Java code based upon design and requirements documents.
• Write Adobe Flex and Java code to write to and read from the database.
• Unit test the code prior to releasing it for integration testing.
• Monitor the need for design changes as the project progresses.
• Develop test plans for testing the system.
• Ensure functionalities have been implemented according to specifications.
• Define assumptions and constraints of architecture with regard to physical structure and data collection.
• Develop post-implementation plan for monitoring/tracking design stability.
• Define, Document and adapt processes and services using Adobe LiveCycle components

The ideal candidate will have::
  • a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a Web Designer.
  • a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the last seven (7) designing forms’ workflow with all of the following: Adobe LiveCycle Workbench, LiveCycle Designer and JavaScript.
  • a minimum of two (2) years with experience in the last seven (7) creating, editing, and troubleshooting Flex elements, specifically including external data source integration
  • a minimum of two (2) years with experience in the last seven (7) developing and troubleshooting Action Script code
  • a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the last seven (7) designing interactive XML-based forms using Adobe LiveCycle.
  • a minimum of two (2) years of experience in the last seven (7) integrating Adobe LiveCycle with Microsoft SQL Server database
  • demonstrated experience in designing forms and workflows with Adobe LiveCycle Workbench, LiveCycle Designer and JavaScript.
  • experience in coding application and business logic using LiveCycle components.
  • experience in database and application integration.
  • experience in the ability to share applied expertise in technical communities, and mentoring others
