Job Description:
Our Ottawa based client is seeking an Application/Software Architect Level 3 for a 53 day contract position.

All candidates must possess Reliability Clearance.

Responsibilities:
• Develop technical architectures, frameworks and strategies, either for an organization or for a major application area, to meet the business and application requirements.
• Identify the policies and requirements that drive out a particular solution.
• Analyze and evaluate alternative technology solutions within the Adobe LiveCyle ES2 platform to meet business problems.
• Ensures the integration of all aspects of technology solutions.
• Monitor industry trends to ensure that solutions fit with government and industry directions for technology.
• Analyze functional requirements to identify information, procedures and decision flows.
• Evaluate existing procedures and methods, identify and document database content, structure, and application sub-systems, and develop data dictionary.
• Define and document interfaces of manual to automated operations from the Adobe LiveCyle ES2 platform, to external systems and between new and existing systems.
• Define input/output sources, including detailed plan for technical design phase, and obtain approval of the sys¬tem proposal.
• Identify and document system specific standards relating to programming, documentation and testing, covering program libraries, data dictionaries, naming conventions, etc.
• Analyse and document the workflow requirements for development in the Adobe LiveCycle solution.

The ideal candidate will have::
  • a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as an Architect on an IT project.
  • a minimum of three (3) years of experience in the last seven (7) as an Architect on an Adobe LiveCycle implementation project(s)
  • at least three (3) years of experience in the last seven (7) developing specifications for the workflow of business processes
  • demonstrated experience in the de- sign of interactive XML-based forms using Adobe LiveCycle
  • experience in design and of workflows with Adobe LiveCycle Workbench, LiveCycle Designer, JavaScript
  • experience in conducting workflow Analysis and developing an Adobe LiveCycle solution architecture (identifying required
  • experience in defining and adapting processes and services using Adobe LiveCycle components
